The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at USIU-Africa

United States International University - Africa and the Mastercard Foundation formally commissioned the second cohort of 48 Scholars under the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, bringing the total number of Scholars recruited under the program to 70.

The Program will provide full-cost scholarships to young Africans who are first-time undergraduate degree-seeking applicants, educate, prepare and transition them into the labor market as leaders who will use their knowledge and skills to inspire socio-economic transformation across the continent.

By completion of their studies, the scholars will be required to lead changes in their communities and contribute to meaningful transformation across the continent, having been equipped with internationally recognized and locally applicable qualifications.
