Why Totton railway station improvements are just the ticket for passengers

Members of the Saints Disabled Supporters Association (SDSA) were among the first to welcome new access upgrades at Totton rail station, making travel to and from matches much easier.
Passengers using wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and pushchairs can now easily access the southern platform, thanks to new facilities completed by our highways team. The new level footpath means those who can’t use stairs no longer need to travel to Brockenhurst and back to access the step-free north platform.
This project was a collaborative effort by the County Council, South Western Railway, and Network Rail, with additional support from the Department for Transport’s Access for All fund. https://www.hants.gov.uk/News/2024081...
