TRUMPF 4 Meter Fiber Conveyor Belt Replacement

Our refurbishment program is continuing on the year 2016 TruLaser 3040 machine, where it was identified that the scrap conveyor belt needed replacing! After changing many conveyor belts on the smaller 3 meter type machines this 4 meter version was a first for our refurbishment team. First job was to make a jig where we could feed the new belt into the machine from, this consisted of a large pallet and some runners that were cut and then welded out of box section. We then proceeded to load the new belt into place using the forklift and attachments and our team fed the belt into the machine. The conveyor belt is now fully connected and is ready to be tensioned and tested under load.
