I love getting off of the beaten path. In Busan, South Korea we took the metro to the very last stop and walked to the coast. We spent some time watching fishermen on the pier, and then walked from Songjeong to Haeundae via the coastal trail that was once a train track. The views were incredible, and it led us to one of Busan's most popular beaches, Haeundae Beach. We grabbed some pork soup for lunch - a delicious meal - and then headed to Haeundae Market to grab a ssiat hotteok for dessert. After people watching at the beach, we continued our hike along the coast, eventually heading inland to the world's largest department store, Shinsegae. If you are looking to do some hiking in Busan or you want to get off the tourist trail, consider taking this long but rewarding walk along the coast.
