In my previous video, i've showcased a path that could be potentially used to get to upper elysium in pure freeroaming, but it was heavily based on luck and hard to execute. I've found some optimisations for it that make it a lot easier in the 2nd part, and i did it in actual pure freeroaming!
First, get a drone by standing in front of a camera for like 30 seconds without ksec spotting you. Find a suitable spot that is a little bit farther away from Elysium, so you can actually lose the alert when inside. When gliding down with the drone after you, disrupt it from time to time so it doesn't deal you damage, as you'll need those health bars later (my save is glitched so you cant see the healthbars, but i got all upgrades)
Before you proceed, a word of warning: ive grinded this path for 2 hours, and it requires some difficult moves!
Now we need to get higher obviously, so we start to climb a pillar in front of the entrance... and here's where the "fun" begins (drones being random)
I've come up with a set of rules to make this strat a little bit easier to do:
1. Make the drone be at full height in front of the glass wall. The drones follow your line of sight
2. Position yourself right at a crease in glass wall, and climb up once
3. Wait for the drone to fly towards you, and a little bit more for it to "lock" itself right above the glass panes above.
4. If the drone doesn't get locked, repeat
5. If you lose all health, and time slows down, disrupt the drone and wait for your health to regenerate (requires health regen upgrade!)
6. When the drone is in place, edgeboard and climb on a glass pane (you cant climb on the other pieces, theyre behind an invisible wall)
7. Try to aim at the drone, and mash that jump button
If you're lucky, you will wallclimb on a piece of wall that is sticking out of the invisible wall. Now mapturn and coil, and hope to grab the upper glass pane...
I disrupted at this point to regenerate health, its not mandatory
Now we need to buy some time to position ourselves for the next jump, so we disrupt the drone when its ahead, close to the corner.

We need to lock the drone again. Once in position, make sure the drone is **as close to the wall as only possible!** Turns out, if a drone is very close to a wall, after disrupting, it will not glide down, but it's very sensitive
You can try to lock the drone first without jumping to it, to see if you got it right. Don't move your cursor then, so you can tell if you need to look a pixel more towards the wall (literally)
Now for the final jump: climb combo, but the second wallclimb should be as close to the corner as possible, its crucial! Sidestep towards the drone, and jump as soon as you touch the drone, or alternatively MASH THAT JUMP KEY, but it can be actually less reliable.
Wallclimb. Mapturn towards the other wall, but dont climb on it, instead, wallrun into the corner. Wallclimb, mapturn to max out that qturn boost. Coil.
If against all the odds you've made it, wow! It seems you're in the upper rooms now! but the way is not over yet, because there's still a little bit to go...
The following climb has a lot of exclusion zones, for example when jumping off from area at 5:09, the glass cant be climbed on, aswell as walls below it, so you have to aim for a piece of wall sticking out (fun fact, its the same piece we've used to climb before at first drone trick!), but its definitely more fun than the drone part x)
