The Return of Pere Marquette

I'm back. And so is the 1225! After two years of absence due to heavy maintenance, the Pere Marquette #1225 is back on the North Pole Express in Owosso Michigan, courtesy of the Steam Railroading Institute.

The North Pole Express is the SRI's annual Christmas train for people of all ages to experience the holiday season in a great way. Even better, this train is headed by the engine that starred in the 2004 film the Polar Express!
