Natuklasan sa bayan ng Mercedes, Camarines Norte ang dumaraming bilang ng crown of thorns starfish o dap-ag sa coral reefs sa mga karagatan doon.

Ayon sa mga eksperto, nagtataglay ng lason ang mga galamay ng dap-ag at pinapatay nito ang bawat bahurang kinakapitan.
