The Children of Israel are called upon to contribute materials for the construction of God’s tabernacle, His dwelling place among them. On the summit of Mount Sinai, Moses is given detailed instructions on how to construct this sanctuary, having been given a spiritual vision of the Heavenly Tabernacle.

The designs are intricate, involving many fine and precious materials to be worked by highly skilled craftsmen and women, so as to reflect the majesty of God, but allowing for easy assembling and dismantling, so that it can be transported from place to place as the people journey throughout the wilderness.

The design and furnishings of the Tabernacle all point to Yeshua Messiah and his work for our salvation, providing a picture of the process for spiritual sanctification and how to approach God correctly, now that we are all His dwelling place.
