Trump Threatens to Invade Iran to Protect Peaceful Protestors Yet He Wants American Protestors Shot?

The irony is stark: during the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests, Trump deployed National Guard troops, used tear gas on peaceful demonstrators for a photo op, and demanded his military shoot protesters in the legs. Trump has spent his second term trying to provoke political violence in American cities, deploying guards in blue cities hoping for confrontations.

Meanwhile, his base is turning against him as he focuses on foreign conflicts while Republicans cut $900 billion from Medicaid, slash SNAP benefits, eliminate the Department of Education affecting red states most, and let Affordable Care Act subsidies expire impacting 25 million Americans. Trump visited Middle Eastern countries collecting trophies while 45% of those losing healthcare subsidies are Republicans living in Republican-controlled counties.

The hypocrisy extends to January 6 when Trump incited violence against Capitol police and targeted Mike Pence for refusing to overturn election results. Trump's obsession with political violence continues as he threatens Iran military action while ignoring affordability crises at home.
