Multiplayer in Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion can support up to four players on one console in split-screen format.
The mode features an array of playable characters and enemies from the single-player campaign. There is a wider selection of multiplayer modes compared to the previous two games.
Multiplayer matches are incredibly customizable, with settings ranging from the mundane (faster or slower pick-up respawns) to the ridiculous (absurdly slow movement speeds).
Unlike Seeds of Evil, each playable character plays the same as any of the other characters. There are no unique special powers or varied maximum health amounts.

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Multiplayer modes
Bloodlust - Deathmatch mode. Players fight against any player not on their chosen team.
Capture the Flag - One team's players fight to steal the other team's flag and return it to their base.
Last Stand - Players or teams fight to win the most number of rounds. A round ends when the timer runs out or every player/team except one is dead. Dead players do not respawn until the next round.
Golden Arrow - Players must find and hold onto the golden arrow. Players win a match by holding onto the golden arrow for a set amount of time, collectively. Players cannot use their weapons while holding onto the golden arrow.
Monkey Tag - One player is transformed into a defenseless monkey and must reach a device in order to be returned to normal. A match ends when a player kills the monkey a set number of times.
Arsenal of War - Each player begins with a set score and only a Spear for a weapon. Each time a player dies, one point is deducted from their score and they are given a progressively better weapon to use. A player or team wins by either killing the other player/team enough times to reduce their score to zero or by having the highest score when the timer runs out.
Color Tag - Players fight to convert all other players to their team. Whenever a player dies, they respawn on the team of the player that killed them. A round ends when only one team remains. The player with the largest number of "recruited" players when the time runs out wins the match.
Weapon Master - Players or teams fight for the highest number of kills. Each player can only carry two weapons: the Spear and one other weapon of their choosing. A player can drop this other weapon by holding down the B button, pressing the Z button, and then releasing both buttons at once.
