Make your yogurt starter from scratch!

Ingredients: 6-8 chickpeas, 1 cup of milk (each day)

Day 1: Heat the milk and let it cool. Measure the temperature with your little finger. if you can withstand the heat when you dip your finger, then the milk is ready. If the milk has been cooled too much, heat it again. In a jar, combine the milk and the chickpeas. Stir well and close the lid. Cover the jar with at least 2 blankets and let it rest for 24 hrs.

Day 2: Strain the milk. Using the same jar, scoop the fermented milk. Add 1 cup of milk. Stir well. Cover with at least 2 blankets and let it rest for 24 hours.

Day 3: in my video, the starter was ready, it was thick. And I made yogurt. But if yours is still runny, strain it and ferment with a cup of milk for 24 hours.
For yogurt, use 1 TBSP (or even less) of starter for each qt/lt of milk. Let it rest for 6-10 hours.
