'A Case Of You' (Joni Mitchell) by Kat Eaton

Ever since I can remember I've had Joni Mitchell on repeat. My mum bought me 'Clouds' on my 14th birthday and I remember learning 'The Fiddle and the Drum' and being mesmorised by that insane melody, which seemingly changes key constantly. Then I discovered 'Blue' and learnt every song on the album. And then that ridiculous album 'Both Sides Now' came out (featuring a new haunting version this song with an orchestra) and I lost my sh*t entirely!


She is an outstanding songwriter and musician and everyone I've interviewed on 'Kat's Got The Cream' ( https://fanlink.to/KatsGotTheCream ) has told me they've been influenced by the way she writes so honestly and precisely. This is my favourite song of hers and I hope I do it justice.
