Problems and solutions are easier than we make them out to be. This can be seen with the abuse of power of the government, and the lack of action by the people. We seem to be in this loveless marriage with the government. We both stay in because there is something to get out of and it is what we are comfortable with. But, what if both sides started looking at the big picture and started honestly communicating with the other? What if just we the people cared enough to open a line of conversation, and get more involved? It takes both parties to change the relationship, but it only takes one to help the other open their eyes. Yes, the relationship may fail, but if it fails because of the truth, then it wasn't worth having in the first place.
