Moses is given Power, yet he is called the most humble of all men.In this amazing chapter we continue the message of the Nasa- to carry and we see that despite all the difficulties Moses is dealing with he tries to shed light with the Menorah but people still are selfish and ungrateful and yet he tries to rise again and find solutions giving from himself the spirit of God without having his spirit diminish, just like the light of the candles doesn't diminish with each additional light it lights.

Moses is also the first to invent an intricate sound system using trumpets for signaling for war and holidays, used today during the blowing of the Shofar on Yom Kippur (The day of atonement) and during the conquest of Jericho.

The greatest food miracle takes place under his leadership: The people want meat (but they want it to spite him, they don't simply say we want meat, but they say we want it like in Egypt, we had it when we were slaves, it was better than now). So, Food appears - feeding over one million people in the desert. (Elijah will later feed a widow and her son for the entire drought, Jesus 4000-15,000 people with bread and fish) And yet still the people are ungrateful.
That place of want & spite is called "Kibroth-Hattaavah" which means "graves of craving," serving as a lasting reminder of the dangers of yielding to selfish desires and turning away from God’s guidance.

And then we have the lesson that even the leadership, if they speak bad about someone behind their back, will be punished and have to pay the price. Meriam, Moses sister is struck with leprosy for saying Moses wife isn't good enough for him and has to leave the camp for one week before she is healed giving her time to meditate on her behavior and the importance of equality and that in judaism all people all races are equal in the eyes of God.
