Having previously lost a lot of money when playing the original strategy, I decided to add a couple of key rules to the infamous holy grail roulette strategy.

I decided to play it a little bit safer, and protect my bankroll by restarting my base unit bet after a 10% win. Rather than the 15% win suggested.

I also changed selection strategy and decided to follow the winner, so that I wouldn't be sat on the side-line if the same dozen came in time after time.

This roulette strategy dictates that we should bet on 2 of the 3 dozens and increase our bet after each loss.
Therefore I decided to start with 1% of my bankroll on each of the 2 dozens.
Giving a total bet of $20.

This way I would win a reasonable amount when hitting a winner. And still protect my bankroll if I went on a long losing streak.
