Grand Lake is a very interesting lake with a number of interesting features. Perhaps the most unusual is Grand Point, a sandbar that juts out into the lake for about a kilometre. It catches, literally, a number of unsuspecting boaters who fail to read their charts in advance of boating on Grand Lake. Many a stern drive and/or propeller have suffered a tragic fate here. Other than that it's pretty cool.
