Band of Gnawa with Maalem Said Boulhimas open their set with Get Back at the Essaouira Gnaoua and World Music Festival 2017, on Thursday 29th June. This set repeats some of the numbers BoG played in their 2007 set during the 10th Essaouira festival, along with some new numbers and new interpretations.

Band of Gnawa are: Loy Erlich (bass guitar), Maalem Said Boulhimas (guembri, vocals), Akram Sedkaoui (vocals), Jean-Philippe Rykiel (keyboards), Cyril Atef (percussion), Tao Erhlich (percussion), Eric Lohrer (guitar).
