You may need to connect two sections of chimney liner together if you didn't initially order enough flexible liner, if you are choosing to extend the masonry chimney, or the length of liner you need is simply too long to handle in one section. For whichever reason, it is simple to attach two sections of liner together.

One option is the Male to Male Liner Coupler which has two male ends to be inserted inside the ends of the flexible liner sections and then screwed to each section with stainless screws. This option is typically used in a tight flue when adding extra width to the liner might hinder the installation.

Another great option is the Liner to Liner Quick Connector which features a quick connect clamp on each end that securely tightens around the liner. This connector has a male and a female end. The male end will go inside the liner and the female end will go over the liner. This connector adds about 1/2" to the overall diameter of the liner. If you are burning wood or wood pellets, you will install the male end pointing downwards into the chimney. For other fuels such as gas, oil and coal, you will install the male end pointing up the chimney.
