Vancouver to Rivers Inlet By Boat

Welcome back to Lodge Life, Season 2.

The Good Hope Cannery skeleton crew are heading up to Rivers Inlet, BC to spend their summer living and working together.

We met up at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club in Stanley Park at 6:00 am to pick up the boat, Kvuma (Gwama) then ran over to Thunderbird Marina to pick up Chuckwalla, the other boat, before heading out.

It was a bumpy ride but we made it to Port Hardy by 4:00pm and ate dinner together at the Glenn Lyon Hotel and all had an early night. The next morning we ate breakfast and met at the docks to receive our grocery order from Save-On-Foods. We met up with Jenny Salo whose husband will be joining us in a couple days to replace the boat lift.

There's a lot of work ahead of us as our season runs until the end of September and Im so excited to share it all with you!
