I still got a few AAL songs I need to work on. Cognitive Contortions is legitimately haunting my dreams now.


I recently switched over to Trick Pedals, and well. They're really neat lol. Back in 2016, I originally was inbetween drum pedals to choose from. Axis Pedals, Demon Drives, and Tricks. I had some false info given regarding the Axis pedals working with the KD9, so I had them for about a solid 2 hours lol. Needless to say, I caved and got the Demon Drives even though I never really wanted them. I simply just didn't want to pay the cost to upgrade to the KD120 at that moment in time. So now, finally being able to just say 'fuck it' I got the Tricks and got rid of my Demon Drives. The customization on the pedals is phenomenal. My biggest grief with the Demon Drives was anytime you tried changing either the foot board height, or the beaters distance from the head you basically fucked up the other. Great design lol. The only thing I'm not crazy about on the Tricks is the stock beaters that they come with. There's little to no weight, and the surface area on the head is kinda odd for response. I ordered some Danmar felt beaters, so hopefully those will be the final touch on these.

The drumset I use is a Roland TD-25KV. Pedal equipment is the Roland KD120, and Trick Drums Pro 1-V Bigfoot Pedals
