Best Koopa Day Ever 1459

I knew this day was coming soon, I just wasn't expecting it to be this soon. Koopa has been having some problems breathing, so Jenny took him to the veterinary hospital. I just got a call from her that the vet thinks its time to put Koopa down. Thats so sad! Adley and I can't believe it. Not to long ago Koopa and Olive were swimming in the pool with us on Navey's Birthday and now we have to put Koopa down? I also thought it might be Olive first who passes. She's older and has more health issues. Those two have been friends forever!!

Jenny gets home with Koopa and we all snuggle and cry together on the couch. Mom tells us that the Vet found some crack ribs that are pushing into Koopa's lungs and that's what's making it hard for him to breath. They also believe he is in a lot of pain and since he is an older dog, they think putting him to sleep is the best option. They did give him some medicine to help. We come up with a plan to go to pirate island cause Koopa loves it there. Before we go, Jenny has an amazing idea. She has ink pads and little cement pads for when the baby comes. What if we use some to get foot prints and a nose print from Koopa. A great little craft so we can always have some things to remember him by.

At Pirate Island, Koopa and Olive are running around with Adley, Niko, and Navey. Playing in the water, marking his territory, and looking for pirate cats. Koopa loves it here! Adley brought her polaroid camera and is capturing moments with each member of the family with koopa. She is just like me.

Speaking of Adley being just like Dad, a little known fact, when i get really really hurt I pass out. Well today I got a call from Adley that she does the same thing. I had to pick her up early from school cause she passed out in class after hitting her elbow on the tray of the white board.

After lots of fun at pirate island, and deciding where we will put a monument to the dogs, we head home to snuggle on the couch and watch old vlogs and videos with Koopa in it. Its going to be so hard to say goodbye, but I'm so happy we have all these memories with our pets. I almost didn't film this, I'm glad i did because we captured one more memory we can always look back on.
