At conferences and events, we often get asked "what is ventureLAB?" The answer is: it's hard to summarize in a few short sentences. ventureLAB is more than just a place where entrepreneurs and innovators build and scale their businesses. It's a community of creative, passionate, innovative individuals working together to help build a vibrant place to do business. It is a well-connected ecosystem throughout Central Ontario, more specifically, York Region, Simcoe County and Muskoka District. It's a place where art meets technology and exceptional entrepreneurs flourish.

At ventureLAB, we believe that it takes an ecosystem to raise an entrepreneur, that partnerships are essential to having a connected and integrated innovation ecosystem across multiple stakeholder organizations. Located in York Region, an integral leader in the Digital Corridor, ventureLAB is a non-profit innovation centre, which cultivates, supports and celebrates entrepreneurs. A member of the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs (ONE), ventureLAB works across York Region, Simcoe County and Muskoka District to apply its unique combination of mentoring, partnering and connecting to help entrepreneurs turn their great ideas into globally competitive products and services.
