If you have any interest in Russia, you might have heard that a lot of Russians love the USSR. While not true for all Russians, many people in Russia, especially the elderly, have a lot of Soviet nostalgia. Despite the fact that the Soviet Union was a pretty oppressive country that gave the world some of the most infamous dictators like Stalin, many people have great memories associated with it. In today's video I will try to explain why so many Russians want to bring back the USSR, what drives their beliefs and how this is all connected to Russian politics. Hope you enjoy!
