Quake 2 Remastered - Deathmatch Multiplayer Montage | The Edge (Q2DM1)

Playing some Quake 2 Remastered Deathmatch Multiplayer in the iconic map The Edge.
Haven't played Quake's 2 multiplayer since forever so some adjustment period is needed. The multiplayer is alright but a bit rough around the edges. The host obviously has an advantage that's why the most imporant thing is having proper servers for an even playground, also weapon flinching can mess with your aim when you take damage which is something you need to adapt to in this game.
Maybe a multiplayer mod or patch can help to remove some of the mild annoyances like flinching, falling damage reduction, being able to repick weapons for ammo, getting stuck on stairs while jumping and hopefully dedicated servers for each region, but I don't see this happening.
