Bambu Lab X1 Carbon - Auto Material Refill - Extreme Testing

Описание к видео Bambu Lab X1 Carbon - Auto Material Refill - Extreme Testing

Too many partial 3D printing spools lingering around your home and shop? I'll show you what you can do to use them up using your Bambu Printer, and how good of a job it does using them as well.

I have a problem... I don't like to throw out partial spools with even a little bit of filament left. I'm a spool hoarder :( Bambu lab has created this AMS (Automatic Material System) which can help to solve my problem and I wanted to share it with you.

When I print parts, they're normally heavy duty and take quite a bit of filament, I end up with these partial spools and can't seem to use them up. I could do a manual material swap, but that's time consuming. The engineers at Bambu Lab seem to have solved this problem. They have created a method of switching materials automatically, but there are a few things to setup in order to get this to work. If the materials are identical, it isn't a problem, but if they're not, we need to LIE to the printer to get what we want, check out the video to learn more about that.

This ended up making quite a big difference for me, paring my nearly empty spools down by at least 6 so far, and I've only had the printer for 2 months.

This adds not only the value of the color change capability, but also the material refill / swap, and the possibility to use multiple different colors automatically when we're prototyping.

So far this printer has been great, my only complaints are that the lighting could be brighter inside, but that's really because I'd like to include the video within my own videos, and of course the printer has glass and it is very shiny. Again pretty specific to my situation.
