Legalising assisted dying could be a step closer following reports the Prime Minister could give MPs a vote on it by Christmas. It gives hope to Dame Esther Rantzen who has tirelessly campaigned on the issue since she was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer last year. In an exclusive interview, she tells Dr Hilary how she is doing right now, why she thinks it is so important assisted dying is made legal - and what she hopes her legacy will be.
