AS232 - Sydney Bechet - Si tu vois ma mère - Guillaume Latil & Romain Vuillemin

Hey guys, i'm happy to invite my friend Guillaume Latil again on the channel. Guillaume is a great cello player that i met on the gypsy jazz scene a few years ago. I invited him already last year on an uptempo swing AS#160 I love you (   • AS160 Guest Guillaume Latil - i love ...  ).

Today we've decided to play this wonderful balad from Sydney Bechet called "Si tu vois ma mère" (1952). We've decided to transpose the song in the key of G to benefit some open strings on our respective instruments.

I'm playing a 1954 Levin Deluxe strung with Martin bronze strings gauge 12. I'm using a Dunlop .71 and the sound is captured on the guitar by a Dpa 4099g, on the cello by a Schoeps CCM4 microphone and in the room by a Neumann TLM 103.
