Vadia Potenza Is All Ears About Being Spock - TREK UNTOLD PODCAST

While his time on-screen might have been brief, Vadia Potenza is one of the few actors to play Spock in Star Trek history. Today, his journey through Hollywood brought him to a different profession that can make or break a film or TV show.

Potenza is best known to Trekkies as one of the young Spocks in “Star Trek 3: The Search for Spock,” and has fond memories of meeting and being directed by Leonard Nimoy, working with Robin Curtis and Lee Remmick, and what it was like to become a Vulcan. We also learn about some of his childhood gigs including “Father Dowling Mysteries”, why he moved away from performing and where life took him as an adult in directing and editing, as well as a second chance at playing Spock in an unexpected film.

Plus, being a production assistant with Jim Henson’s studio for the Muppets, stories from BET’s “The Iron Ring” MMA reality tv show, editing A&E biography documentaries, and his job today working with Karamu Brown.
