How to stitch a Simple Stumpwork Bee

Описание к видео How to stitch a Simple Stumpwork Bee

This weeks' Stitch Journal is all about stitching a Simple Stumpwork Bee.
The image on the tea-towel was more of a generic bee and I wanted to make it into a Carder Bee, which is one of the most common bees in the UK.
So it starts out as a little drawn oval shape on a spare piece of old sheet. Then simple straight stitches transform the oval into a bee body, which, when cut out and applied to the background fabric, looks so lovely.
There's no wires or stuffing, so this is the simplest type of stumpwork to take your skills further forward.
I hope you'll be as delighted as I was when you stitch a bee or other insect of your own to add to this Stitch Journal page.

I have a ko-fi page if you feel you would like to support me and my channel. But there's no pressure to do so either way. Thank you.

I also have a shop...with just 1 item at the moment, but hoping for more!
