Today, I’m excited to share with you these rich and moist Chocolate Muffins — a simple yet indulgent treat perfect for any chocolate lover. They’re fluffy, full of cocoa flavor, and dotted with melty chocolate chips. 🍫🧁

Let’s get started!

Ingredients (Chocolate Muffins):
1 large egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
100 grams granulated sugar (about 1/2 cup)
120 ml milk (about 1/2 cup)
28 grams unsalted butter, melted and cooled (2 tablespoons)
30 ml canola or vegetable oil (2 tablespoons)
140 grams all-purpose flour (about 1 cup + 2 tablespoons)
15 grams cocoa powder (about 3 tablespoons)
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
50 grams chocolate chips (about 1/3 cup)

Prepare the Batter:
In a large bowl, add 1 egg, 100 grams of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla, 120 ml of milk, 28 grams of melted butter, and 30 ml of oil.
Mix everything together using a hand mixer until well combined.

Sift together 140 grams of all-purpose flour, 15 grams of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix again until just combined.
Fold in 50 grams of chocolate chips.

Bake the Muffins:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
Line a muffin tray with paper liners or lightly grease it.
Spoon the batter into the muffin cups, filling them about 3/4 full.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Serve and Enjoy:
Let the muffins cool slightly before serving. They’re delicious warm, with gooey chocolate in every bite!
