Armenia, located in the South Caucasus (between Eastern Europe and West Asia), is one of the world's oldest civilizations and the first nation to adopt Christianity as its state religion. Known for its ancient monasteries, such as Geghard and Noravank, and the iconic Mount Ararat (in present-day Turkey), Armenia offers a unique blend of cultural heritage and breathtaking natural landscapes.

The video covers most of Armenia's ancient churches, monasteries and temples, including the three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: 1. Cathedral and Churches of Echmiatsin and the Archaeological Site of Zvartnots; 2. Monasteries of Haghpat and Sanahin; 3. Monastery of Geghard; and two of the sites on the tentative list: Noravank and Tatev Monastery.
