Best time to photograph clouds & how to use a polariser to enhance them - Landscape Photography Tips

In this video, I show you the best time to photograph clouds in order to capture lovely puffy white clouds and deep blue skies with lots of detail and definition. The trick is to shoot earlier in the afternoon when the sun is much higher in the sky. Golden hour photography is great for golden photos, but if you want your greens to be green, the whites to be white and those blue skies to be deep blue, then this is the time to go out.

I explain why the angle of the light is so important when trying to ensure we get that cloud definition and why the sun being higher in the sky helps achieve this.

Here I show you how you can also use a polariser to help bring out the definition in those clouds, and how to vary your composition according to what is going on in the sky.
