Compact Sonny’s/PECO Mini Tunnel - Rock’n Car Wash - Jupiter, FL

This is certainly one of the most interesting mini tunnels I have ever come across!

Located in Jupiter and opened in May, this location is designed to put it self on the map as one of the only express washes in the are outside of West Palm Beach. This wash, located behind a Shell gas station, took the place of an older conveyorized unattended wash. It is now attended with two employees who prep your car at the loading area before you are sent through. A Sonny’s mini pay station is used to complete transactions.

The tunnel itself is only approximately 50-60 feet. Most of the equipment is from PECO with the exception of a Sonny’s over under conveyor. Since the acquisition by Sonny’s, PECO has began to reemerge in the state of Florida as a handful of new express installs have chosen PECO equipment. What makes this tunnel special is not only does it feature many of the newest PECO components, but this wash has been prominently featured in Sonny’s and G&G lighting marketing videos. This wash includes a PECO top washes/wrap combo with top driven van brushes, Sonny’s belt friendly wheel blasters, a PECO top washer/top driven rocker combo, PECO blowers, and a PECO Shammy dry featuring Sonny’s wick-a-way drying material. Due to the absence of a dry backroom, all of the backroom components and equipment can be found in the tunnel itself at the exit, including the MCC and tunnel controller, Bullseye containers, air regulators, etc. This wash runs the complete Diamond Shine package including the Fusion Process, Ceramic X3, AND Graphene Xtreme. Signage and foam applicators are all Mr. Foamer.
