The Painted Monasteries of Bucovina | Europe by Lemon S1E02 (Romania)

The Painted Monasteries of Bucovina (or Moldavia, depending on if you wanna name the modern or the historic region) are a sight that I wanted to visit back in 2019 on my first trip to Romania, but they've been too far away from everything else on my list. This summer however, I finally got the chance and I can wholefully say, they're worth the hype. However, there's a good likeliness what we did here wouldn't even have been possible with public transport in the first place.

If you're wondering why the last part might seem a little cut off, one of the nuns living/working at Moldovita wasn't happy about us filming on the premises, so we had to respect that.
