Two decades ago, I sat down to pen down the lyrics of ‘Metsüben Naro,’ translating to the tender name, ‘Rhododendron Flower’. It was amidst the majestic mountains of Mt. Saramati and vast blooms of rhododendron flowers, where the inspiration struck me.

“These exquisite flowers are mostly found on tall hills and mountains. They are admired for their exquisite appearance, vibrant colors, and delicate petals,” I was told, and in that moment, they became a living metaphor for the woman who graced my life.

My wife, with her grace, her resilience, and her unyielding spirit, embodies the essence of those very rhododendron flowers.

This song, this humble tribute, is just a fragment of the immense love and admiration I hold for her in my heart. May this song resonate not only with us but with every listener who hears it.
