南涧土碱有食用、药用、洗涤去污、消肿、除焦、祛霉等使用价值。从中提制的烧碱是造纸等轻化工业的重要原料。

土碱生产过程:在含天然碱的土地上，以井水灌溉，晒两、三星期，地上潮起雪白碱土，搜刮一堆，入铁锅中加水溶化煎熬，除去泥沙杂质，倒入缸中，冷却后凝结成块，即成水碱。再入铁锅精熬，除净水分杂质，倒入模型凝结成块，即成炒碱。
Nanjian soil alkali has edible, medicinal, washing and decontamination, detumescence, scorch removal, mildew removal and other uses. The caustic soda extracted from it is an important raw material for papermaking and other light chemical industries.
Soil alkali production process: On the land containing trona, irrigate with well water, dry it for two or three weeks, the snow-white alkaline soil rises from the tide on the ground, search a pile, put it into an iron pot, add water to dissolve it, remove the silt impurities, and pour it into the tank After cooling, it condenses into blocks and becomes water-alkali. Then put it into an iron pot and boil it carefully to remove moisture and impurities, pour it into a mold to condense into a block, and then it becomes fried soda.
