On my first playthrough, I did a whole bunch of bosses with the Mimic Tear summon, and on this one, the spellblade build I started in preparation for the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, I had to bring out the Tear for this utter bastard of a field boss. Only later did I realize the joys of having a bunch of different damage types in one's arsenal and that these sorry creatures absolutely melt in the face of holy damage (to the face), but more about that later.
