The Northwest Institute of Health Sciences has launched a plantation drive to promote a healthier, cleaner, and greener societal environment. The drive kicked off on August 20th, 2024 at the institute's Ring Road campus in Peshawar.
Principal Dr. Subhan-ur-Rehman inaugurated the drive by planting a tree on the premises, setting an example for others. Vice Principal Dr. Qurat-ul-Aen, Principal of the Center of Excellence for Paramedics Dr. Raheel Ahmad, heads of departments and faculty members also actively participated in the drive.
Students from various technological disciplines also joined the plantation activities, displaying great enthusiasm and a strong commitment to sustainability. They pledged to voluntarily sustain the plantation efforts both within and outside the campus, demonstrating their dedication through active participation in the drive.
The aim of this initiative is to contribute to a greener and cleaner environment, highlighting the institute's commitment to environmental sustainability. This effort also sets a shining example for students, inspiring them to become responsible stewards of the planet.
