How To Log Ignition Timing In Your Audi RS3 and TTRS with VCDS

Описание к видео How To Log Ignition Timing In Your Audi RS3 and TTRS with VCDS

A lot of people have reached out to me and asked "How can you tell that your car is pulling timing?" I put together this quick tutorial for those of you that want to make sure your engines are running optimally. I hope this video helps everyone check to see if they are getting the maximum potential out of their vehicles with the fuel that they choose to use.

I use a program called VCDS to log my RS3. It used to be called VAG-COM. Ross-Tech is the company that makes both the hardware and software. You can find more information on both and how to acquire them here:

For those of you that are looking for the exact same parameters that I logged in this video, you will find them below:

VCDS LOGGING PARAMETERS:
IDE00021 - Engine speed
IDE00155 - Timing angle retardation cylinder 1 (This parameter was not logged in this video)
IDE00156 - Timing angle retardation cylinder 2
IDE00157 - Timing angle retardation cylinder 3
IDE00158 - Timing angle retardation cylinder 4
IDE00159 - Timing angle retardation cylinder 5
IDE00348 - Intake air temperature
IDE00593 - Ignition timing adjustment cylinder 1
IDE02117 - Relative load value (I would remove this parameter if logging IDE00155)
