Caribis Z - Stallion presentation 2021 - ENG

Many Zangersheide breeders were overjoyed when Caribis Z came to stand stud for a few months during stud season 2020, as a direct side-effect of the absence of 5* competitions in the wake of Covid 19. His availability was so much appreciated by the breeders that Studfarm Zangersheide decided to prolong the success this year. Under Christian Ahlmann the unique grey with the blue eye won the 5*GPs of Hong Kong and St. Tropez, won the World Cup in Leipzig and collected over a million Euros in prize moneys. And his career is not over by a long shot! ‘Caribis Z is a dream horse’, Christian Ahlmann says, ‘he is quick, agile and a very complete and modern sport horse! Last year we paired all our good-quality mares to Caribis Z and when his offspring turn out to have the same qualities as their father then I want to ride them all!’

Caribis Z also has a very exceptional pedigree: his dam Canasta Z jumped at 1.60m level with Paris Sellon, his granddam Carlaya Z jumped at 1.50m with Judy Ann Melchior and the line continues with the mare Aglaya Z who is foundation dam of As Cold as Ice Z!
