Sacred Heart, Spokane's first hospital, has undergone many changes since the first stone was laid in 1886: several additions, two moves and countless technology updgrades to name a few!

With world-renowned specialists and advanced services often only found in major metropolitan or university settings, Sacred Heart allows area residents to have the best treatment, here at home.

But one thing has always remained the same: the Sisters of Providence Mission to care for those in need. 125 years later, our 12 ministries and 8,500 employees in Eastern Washington are still devoted to that calling.
