Days 4-6 Novena
PATRONAGE: Ireland, associated with hope and consolation during times of suffering

O Most Holy Virgin Mary, you appeared to the villagers of Knock, accompanied by your most chaste spouse St. Joseph, and St. John the Apostle. You also appeared with a lamb before an altar, surrounded by angels. You spoke no words, yet your silence speaks to your powerful intercession for us. Hear our prayers and intercede for us, that as we pray this novena, we may be moved to conversion and repentance, filled with a greater love for your Son, Jesus Christ.

DAY 4 PRAYER:
Our Lady of Knock, today let us pray for persecuted Christians around the world. So many Christians are unable to freely practice their faith because of government oppression. Please pray for religious liberty to be respected around the world, and that those who are persecuted may be courageous and consoled in the practice of their faith, even in difficult circumstances.
Please pray for (mention your intentions here).

Lord Jesus, we thank you for the gift of faith and for giving us your mother as our Blessed Mother. Help us to become closer to you through Mary and emulate her faith and self-surrender to God each day. Through the intercession of Our Lady of Knock, please hear and answer our prayers.

Our Lady of Knock, Queen of Ireland, you gave hope to your people in a time of distress and comforted them in sorrow. You have inspired countless pilgrims to pray with confidence to your divine Son, remembering His promise, “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find.”
Help me to remember that we are all pilgrims on the road to Heaven. Fill me with love and concern for my brothers and sisters in Christ, especially those who live with me. Comfort me when I am sick, lonely or depressed. Teach me how to take part ever more reverently in the Holy Mass. Give me a greater love of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Pray for me now and at the end of my death. Amen.

DAY 5
Our Lady of Knock, please pray for the sick and those who care for them. The sick, especially the elderly, are often forgotten -- pray that they may be loved and comforted by their caregivers and the peace of Christ. Pray that caregivers and healthcare workers may be given endurance and perseverance in caring for their patients. Help us to also be quick and willing to offer spiritual works of mercy to those we encounter facing spiritual sickness, poverty, or loneliness.

DAY 6
Our Lady of Knock, please pray for all priests and those in religious vocations. Intercede for those who have embraced a life of poverty, chastity, and obedience out of love for your Son. Help us to live our own vocations faithfully, and guide those who may feel unsure of their vocation.
