How to use a USB tester or USB watt meter

Описание к видео How to use a USB tester or USB watt meter

Find out what you can use a USB tester or watt meter for and why you might want one that has support for Qualcomm Quick Charge.

In this video I review the Muker USB tester, specifically the Muker-V21. It has support for Qualcomm QC 2.0 and QC 3.0.

Since shooting this video, I found a better version, the Muker-J7 which addresses some of the complaints I had with this one. The J7 shows Watts and logs watt hours instead of just mAh.

Some example uses of a USB watt meter would be comparing charge cables to see which can deliver the most power to your device. Checking if your devices really are making use of Qualcomm Quick Charge and whether that fancy Anker charger really is boosting the voltage for older devices. Testing if your USB wall charger really can output as much power as they say it can. And ultimately, one of the most popular uses would be to measure the capacity of a powerbank.
