The need is rapidly increasing around the world for not just the fact that people want more exotic agri produce form around the world like Avocados, Blueberries, Monk Fruit, Edamame all through the year...

But also pharma products like vaccines and Ozempic.

The current cold chain warehousing facilities are not even sufficient to meet the booming demand.

Based on my conversations, half the people say their warehouses are underutilized (possible poor selection of location), and the other half feel it’s so undercapacity that they wish they had the money to open more.

Don’t just be prudent about the location, but also about the uninterrupted power supply in that area... It’s the second biggest determinant for this model.

The market is said to be growing at a CAGR of 10% globally, and in India and Africa, it should be upwards of 12% p.a. for the next 5 years.

The NHB has a subsidy of 35% of capital investment for construction, renovation and expansion of 5000 MT to 10000 MT of capacity.

The MoFPI has the Kisan Sampada Yojana to promote the same.
