How Old is Romania?

Few nations are as mysterious in their exact origins as Romania. Between Rome and the 14th century, this large space within Europe is a wild as it gets historically, from Gothic Invasion to revolutionary uprisings against the Kingdom of Hungary. But it does not end there, with the Ottoman Empire, Russians and the Hapsburg Dynasty, these people in what would become Romania were squeezed between the powers of the age and had to find a way and a reason, to become a nation.
