How to convert a L3 11769 tube into 10160 format

Newer L3 11769 image tubes have removable pigtails and you can use them in other housings that do not have gain control. This only works on L3 11769 tubes from about 2012 but possibly older. This WILL NOT WORK for ITT/Exelis-Harris/Elbit tubes whose pigtails are soldered on. If you try to remove them you will damage it and possibly ruin your tube. This conversion WILL void the warranty.
