DIY Cal Kestis Lightsaber - Jaro Tapal Broken Saber - Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order

Описание к видео DIY Cal Kestis Lightsaber - Jaro Tapal Broken Saber - Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order

Got a few cardboard tubes and some miscellaneous bits of junk lying around? Then you've got the makings for a Cal Kestis lightsaber! Had requests for this from CrazyNinjaNite, Trick Brick Films, and Anakin Skywalker. This lightsaber is a lot of fun to make, because instead of trying to make it look perfect, you actually want it to look damaged. So you get have wires hanging, and melted handle pieces.

I didn't glue-paint any of the cardboard before painting it in this build, as it all gets covered up with the plastic mesh anyway, and the black undercoat is just to make it dark under the mesh.

You can use tinfoil in place of the silver adhesive foil that I used, but be aware that tinfoil wrinkles more easily.

MATERIALS USED:
2 cardboard tubes (one slightly bigger than the other)
Used puffy paint bottle or something similar that will fit inside your tube
Bunch of junk (hook and loop closures, wire, old cords, random beads and buttons)
Stray pieces of copper wire
Silver adhesive foil (https://amzn.to/2oy4rT9)
Black plastic canvas (found in JoAnn Fabrics)
2mm or 3mm craft foam
Cardstock scraps
