Southampton born saxophonist Nick Willsher returns to the SMJC for the first time since beginning his instrumental studies at the Royal Academy of Music. Bringing with him a line-up of some of London’s most exciting musicians and improvisers.
Performing Nick’s original material inspired by the skies, alongside a varied selection of arrangements, the band showcases a refreshing palette. The music draws inspiration from folk, Brazilian, ambient and the European jazz scene - promising a broad mix of sounds and colours.
