This video is part of a series of interactions with the elderly spread across the spectrum. These interactions help us in understanding the issues faced by the elderly. They share their views and experiences which eventually helps Agewell Foundation in advocating for their needs and rights and creating the path for a better life for them. Agewell Foundation is an NGO working for the welfare and empowerment of senior citizens since 1999. It endeavors to change our perceptions of old age while ensuring better interaction between the generations. Presently, there are around 138 million elderly people in India ; Agewell voices their concerns to lead secure & dignified lives. Agewell has a network of volunteers spread across India that interacts with older people. It runs numerous on-ground programs for the elderly that advocate for their rights and addresses their issues, such as creating a friendly environment for them and creating a sense of moral and social responsibility towards senior citizens.

ECOSOC granted Special Consultative Status to Agewell Foundation at the United Nations in 2011. It is associated with the Department of Public Information, United Nations (UN-DPI-NGO). Agewell has also been a member of various Working Groups and Steering Committees on the Social Sector for three consecutive Five-Year-Plans of the Planning Commission of India since 2002.

Agewell aims to provide dignity, physical, emotional and mental well-being to the elderly population. Agewell acts like a catalyst of change in bridging the gap between generations and ensuring a respectful and comfortable life for older people.
