Visapur Fort Trek In Monsoon 2019

Visapur fort also known as Visapoor. The fort is easily accessible with trains and roads. The nearest station is Malavli from there you can trek to Visapur fort or you can take cabs till Bhaja caves.
Visapur fort is one of the best trekking destinations near Mumbai and Pune. The trek is not that difficult and it is suitable for beginners as well.

There are two ways you can reach Visapur fort:
1. From Bhaja caves, the trek starts from behind the ticket counter of Bhaja caves.
2. Other one starts from Lohgad base village.

This time I decided to trek on the first route, which is from Bhaja caves. This is because I have already done the previous one from the Lohgad base village.

Once you start climbing you will come across beautiful wide open and lush green lands with stunning view. The trek was not that exhausting in monsoon but I will recommend you to carry at least 2 letters of water and some snacks.
